Yellowstone has become one of the biggest shows on television. The season 4 finale ratings hit a new series high with 9.3 million total viewers. The explosion in viewership led to the spinoff 1883 on Paramount Plus, as well as the upcoming Yellowstone prequel 1923. Showrunner Tyler Sheridan even has a different show, Tulsa King starring Sylvester Stallone, currently streaming on Paramount Plus.

Yellowstone season 5 continues the saga of the Dutton family, who control the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. This is still frontier country and the ranch is under constant threat from land developers, an Indian reservation and conservation activists.

Just because Paramount Network isn't available everywhere doesn't mean you need to miss Yellowstone season 5 if you're away from home. Watching along with the rest of the internet can be pretty easy. With the right VPN (virtual private network), you can stream the show from wherever you go.

You can also watch Yellowstone season 5 episodes for FREE on the Paramount Network website (opens in new tab). Just click here (opens in new tab), select "Start 24-Hour Pass" and register with your email address.

Seasons 1-4 of Yellowstone are streaming on Peacock Premium, with Season 4 episodes also currently available on Paramount Network and with an active subscription to Philo. Individual episodes and complete seasons of Yellowstone are also available to purchase on Amazon.

If you have a valid cable login, you can watch Yellowstone Season 5 live on the Paramount Network app and website. No cable login? Paramount Network offers a free 24-hour viewing pass for first-time users.

Yellowstone's mid-season finale kicks off with a continuation of the flashback that opened last episode. After accidentally murdering the cowboy that was disrespecting Beth (Kylie Rogers), young Rip (Kyle Red Silverstein) finds himself helping young Lloyd (Forrest J. Smith) dispose of the body at the "train station." Faithful fans of the series will recall that destination isn't actually an Amtrak terminal, but rather a canyon on the Wyoming border where the Duttons bury the bodies of their enemies.

The next scene opens with another branded chest. It's now present day, and we're catching up with long-absent Jimmy (Jefferson White), last seen in season 4 leaving for Texas with his new fiancée Emily (Kathryn Kelly). He's happy and living the good cowboy life, working hard at the 6666 Ranch during the day and giving Emily foot rubs and drinking Coors Banquets at night.

The episode takes a brief breather from the escalating intrigue and drama to send off the Texas-bound cowboys. Jake (Jake Ream,) Walker (Ryan Bingham,) Teeter (Jennifer Landon,) and Ryan (Ian Bohen) pack their cold weather gear and say their goodbyes, while Rip and Beth plan to reunite in a week, when she'll fly to the Texas Panhandle. The scene also treats us to some young blossoming romance, as Carter and his crush plan a post-branding season date.

The mid-season finale could've ended on this dire note, but instead leaves us with a more pleasant conclusion. Kayce and Monica discuss John's proposal. Kayce reveals to his wife the vision he previously saw presented a choice between her and the ranch. But she fully embraces the idea of starting over, maybe even trying to grow their family again, and is hopeful the move will eliminate the need for him to choose: "Maybe this is the way we have both."

Yellowstone season 4 might have only landed on Paramount Plus in the UK earlier this year, but it would seem fans of the hit Western series are being spoilt this year, with season 5 already airing new episodes.

The first two episodes of season 5 have subsequently seen John Dutton sworn in as Governor of Montana and settling into the powers of his new office, making bold moves to protect the ranch from his opponents.

The fifth season of the series included 14 episodes that were divided into two parts. Paramount Network has stated that the show would return for season 5 (part 2) with six new episodes in the Summer of 2023. However, the show has yet not announced any official release date. You can watch all the episodes of Yellowstone season 5, including the new ones, on Sling TV or Philo. Apart from this, you can also enjoy eight old episodes of Yellowstone season 5 through Amazon Prime Video.

Season 4 of the neo-Western show concluded in January 2022, setting a record as the most-watched cable telecast since The Walking Dead's Season 8 premiere, reports TV Line. The series also earned its first-ever SAG and PGA nominations after Season 4's success.

To watch Yellowstone Season 5, you can tune in when it airs weekly on the Paramount Network. At the moment, there is no word of Yellowstone being made available on Paramount's streaming service, Paramount+. However, the prequel, 1883, and spin-off, 6666, are currently live on the streaming platform.

Yellowstone Season 5 will air exclusively on Paramount Network, which is not to be confused with the streaming service, Paramount+. Since NBCUniversal bought the streaming rights to Yellowstone in 2020, the fifth season will eventually stream on Peacock, where the first four seasons are already streaming. Viewers can also purchase individual seasons and episodes on both Prime Video and Apple TV+.

Of course, Paramount Plus would seem like the natural place to turn to for anyone hoping to stream season 5 and the show's past episodes. But, counterintuitively, the one show most associated with the Paramount name is nowhere to be found on Paramount Plus.

If you want to watch the new season, the Paramount Network app or website will be your only streaming option for months. If you want to catch up on the previous seasons, you'll need to pay for rival streaming service Peacock, which has an exclusive deal to be the only subscription service streaming Yellowstone.

Paramount Plus hopes its own particular concoction of TV and movies will hook you on its own vision for TV's future, like competitors Disney Plus, HBO Max, Apple TV Plus, Peacock and Discovery Plus are trying to do too. But byzantine licensing deals like Yellowstone's underscore that even when a service like Paramount Plus rallies around its own content, that doesn't necessarily make it simpler for you to find and watch your favorite shows and movies online.

If you're trying to hunt down Yellowstone to stream, the main distinction to know is that Paramount Plus is different from Paramount Network. While Paramount Plus is a subscription streaming service, Paramount Network is a traditional cable channel available to people who pay for it through a live-TV provider. Paramount Network is where Yellowstone's new season runs first.

To stream the fifth season, you'll need to be an "authenticated" viewer -- that is, somebody who can log in with live-TV service credentials to prove you're already paying for Paramount Network. Most often, that means having cable, satellite or a live-channel streaming service like YouTube TV or Philo. (Philo is one of the cheapest online options to get access to Paramount Network; it also offers a weeklong free trial.)

One exception: Paramount Network made the first episode of the new season available to stream free on the network's website and the Paramount Network app for anybody in the US. Even if you're not paying for a traditional TV service that includes Paramount Network, you can still watch the first episode of the season. You can't, however, watch any of the other episides unless you have a sign-in to get past the paywall.

The first four seasons of Yellowstone are available to stream on Peacock, a streaming service run by NBCUniversal. Every episode of Yellowstone is paywalled: You must be on one of its paid subscription tiers that typically cost either $5 a month with ads or $10 a month ad-free. (Some people who have Comcast or Spectrum can get a deal on Peacock's premium tiers.)

That means that for new fans of any of the Yellowstone prequels on Paramount Plus, as they watch the chronicles of the early Dutton family, they'll need to go elsewhere to dive into who the modern-day Duttons even are.

Fans took to social media to share their glee for the return of the beloved Western, writing, "Yellowstone deserved to be on at least one award show this season," which is likely a nod to "Yellowstone" being snubbed from any Emmy Award nominations this past year.

Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Finn Little, Ryan Bingham and Gil Birmingham also round out the Season 5 cast, with Mo Brings Plenty, Wendy Moniz, Jen Landon and Kathryn Kelly upped to series regulars. The upcoming season will also feature the return of Josh Lucas as young John Dutton alongside Jacki Weaver, Kylie Rogers and Kyle Red Silverstein with Kai Caster, Lainey Wilson, Lilli Kay, and Dawn Olivieri joining the star-studded cast.

This brings me to my new problem. If you read the article (which I highly recommend), you will come to understand that you can only watch season 5 if you subscribe to one of the "Paramount Network" paid TV or streaming providers.

So, can anyone at Roku help me (and possibly others) fix this problem to where I can successfully enter my YouTube TV credentials as requested by Paramount Network so I can watch Yellowstone Season 5, and get on with my life??

Bottom line, this is very unethical what Paramount+ is doing. This is a classic bait & switch technique. They are getting people to sign up for the "paid" Paramount+ service (thinking they will be able to watch Yellowstone) all the while knowing that will never happen for them. Paramount should somehow make it clear that new subscribers to Paramount+ will not be able to watch Yellowstone Season 5 before they sign up. 041b061a72
